Default She's ALIVE!!!

CAM is DONE!! wohoo!! i finally got her running, after breaking a sensor and calling a billion places to get it and also having trouble soldiering my coolant tubes she is alive and running. i am very surprised at how the car is running, its not stumbling or surging, it runs amazing and i just cant get enough of the lope its running awesome for having no tune and after the heat cycles i ran it and it really lets the tires loose now if i wouldnt have touched the intake i would have been done on saturday. the cam install went really fast, maybe took like 6 hours total, it really helps to have the harmonic balancer puller and longer bolt and making the lifter tool worked, as well as the larry spring tool and spark plug compressor adapter. without those tools it woulda taken a lot longer. anyway im really happy with the cam and love the torque down low if anyone has any questions on the install let me know

idle is amazing!!! my idle is kinda high though, always has been, it sits at like 1k-1100rpms and drivibility is no different than the stock cam. im verry happy with the cam, it doesnt have that sewing machine sound that the bigger cams do, has a ton of low end torque and the 111lsa is bad azz even at the high 1k rpm idle. a tune should get the idle down to a nasty lope

i was looking at a friends 98 file via hp tuners and his warm idle is 800rpms...fwiw my tach is off 200-300 rpms from what i see via hptuners...so your probably idling around 800-900 which is usually fine even for a semi large cam.
