Comp 918 broke with few miles

"The bent valve punched #3 piston pretty good. The single ding looks almost like you had the piston flycut. But not so deep.
WHAT ARE MY CHANCES? Can these LS1 pistons take a hit like that and keep on ticking? Or Is it likely or not likely there is more damage to the cam, bearings, etc? "
Got one opinion so far, that the motor has to come apart....
Also that newer springs have blue stripes. Don't recall seeing blue stripes, I'll ask mechanic when he gets home, and to measure the ding.
