Installing cam in 2000 Z-28
Installing cam in 2000 Z-28 Need instruciton/advice on installing a cam in a 2000 Z-28 (auto, coupe). I will use the stock lifters, but will be replacing a B1 cam with a X1 cam (built motor my MTI). What tools and gaskets, fluids, etc will I need for the change? I assume I can do this by removing radiator and front "stuff" with motor in car. All input and insights from those that have done this would be appreciated.

Re: Installing cam in 2000 Z-28 Do a search and you can find a complete cam swap guide, its perfect. Picture by picture details, I used it when I did my cam swap, took me about 5 hours to swap it out, without air tools, it was surprisingly easy. Ill look around for it if you dont find it.
