Any suggestions on some 1.8 or 1.85 roller rockers and a 2800 to 3200 stall? Brands and good places to buy? Thanks.

comp, crane, YT, HS, all make 1.8 or 1.85 (comps). vig, tci, midwest make TC (though im not an a4 guy so i cant comment on quality, price, ect). i will say however for the price of the higher ratio rockers you can just get a better cam. whats your goal, application, and intended powerband?

Goal: get my big *** truck down the track real fast (12's, I'm .5 away right now at 13.56)

Application: daily driver truck, stock internals except cam, check the sig

Powerband: I'd guess 3-6000

Any cam suggestions? I was told I pretty much have the biggest cam I can get without changing springs and push rods (2001 Z06 cam).

what are the stock 5.3 springs good for, i'd imagine not much higher then .500 lift. 01 z06 is 204/211 .525/.525 116 if i remember right. anway, check with the truck guys and see what there running. i know a few are running 220 114 cams w/ 918's. check the "short duration something or another" thread here, should still be on page 1 or 2.

i'd also look into more bolt ons; headers, TB, pulley, ect.

That's good advice. In addition, Yank's 2800 stealth is a good (and popular) bet, but get them to make it for you with the more expensive Kevlar clutches. If you talk to them they can finalize/customize your convertor so it has all the strength of more expensive ones and none of the weaknesses of the cheap ones.
