Domed pistons with 5.3 heads?

Domed pistons with 5.3 heads? Does anyone have experience running domed pistons with 5.3 heads? I have a pair of 5.3 stage 3 heads that have been milled .030" and some 12cc domed pistons. I am considering having my machine shop mill the domes to approximately 6cc to bring the compression back down to 12.5:1. Are there any clearance issues that I should be aware of with this combo?

The valve reliefs are adequate. I'm concerned about piston dome to combustion chamber interference with .030" milled 5.3 heads. I believe the piston domes were designed for stock 5.7 chambers. Is there enough of a difference to create problems?
and i thought my 12.0CR was high 
. i know for Jasons new setup he's running 5.3's milled and 9.10 effective domes and a big *** cam to boot. my setup is 5.7 heads milled .020 and 6.6 effective domes.
