P/V compared from LS1 head to LS6 head .030 milled? Is there a BIG difference on the P/V clearance between an LS6 head and an LS1 head when it is milled .030?

yes, there is. without flycutting pistons your choice of cam will be limited to 224, maybe a little bigger.LS1
62.75cc = 10.8 CR (around there with graphite gasket) LS1
