Default P/V compared from LS1 head to LS6 head .030 milled?

Is there a BIG difference on the P/V clearance between an LS6 head and an LS1 head when it is milled .030?

TIA ~Eddie

yes, there is. without flycutting pistons your choice of cam will be limited to 224, maybe a little bigger.LS1
62.75cc = 10.8 CR (around there with graphite gasket) LS1

The Ls6 and LS1 have the same valve heights so the ptv should be the same, since the Ls1 head is cut .030" it would have .030" less ptv.

Think a 232/236 .585/.585 113 XER cam would fit on a stock SB without notching pistons?
