Default Just want to say thanks -

for all the replies by the "regulars" in this section. I've been doing my
cam research and have learned a lot from this board. There is a
wealth of information that can be found here, other boards with cam
questions refer people here.

Thanks guys!

Yep - 224/228/114 on .0578 lift. New springs - crane doubles, retainers, timing chain.

Should be a nice street cam and very driveable. I really did use a lot of info that was in your signature as well as discussion here. The last cam I bought was in 1974 so it was nice to be educated into modern cam design.

Not sure yet about a pulley, don't know if the gain is worth the potential problems, and whether or not to look at the oil pump. I've heard of only one oil pump failure on a 98. Mine has only 13,000 miles on it, and it's working fine.

Thanks for all your help.

Good choice, should work well with shorties. No doubt this board is the bomb and I stumbled upon it by accident and started poking around.
