Help me build my 408 powered ride
I'm planning on building an N/A 408 for a 4wd truck weighing between 4500-5500lbs with a 9" rear end, 4.88's and 35" tires (daily driving, a little towing, a few full throttle blasts here and there, and some long high speed cruises in the sand dunes).
I'm going to be going with a 408 short block from one of the sponsors but I need help with the other stuff.
What Heads/Cam combo to top off the 408? It's going to be daily driven so streetabilty, reliability and pump gas are a must.
Besides the Heads/Cam what other suggestions should I consider for the engine?
I'm still kind of new to this so any info would help.
Thanks
James
