Default Cam Sugestions???

I am rebuilding my motor, I have a 370 on the way. I hear a 231/237 cam works great, but on what LSA and etc. my old cam was 228/228 .571 .571 on a 112lsa. I will be adding Nitrous on this motor. Please let me know the rest of the specs on the 231/237 cam THANKS in advance. And anyother sugestions will be great, this is a DAILY DRIVE. if you have a cam sugestion and know dyno #'s cam only, that would be even more of a PLUS, thanks again

231/237 on a 112 LSA is a great cam. I don't have one but have heard great things about it and have had it recommended by some manufacturers of heads.

no, i don't have a spare. i am finishing building a lunati 395 stroker. the 231/237 cam wasn't big enough for the bigger cubes. i went with a 240/244 cam instead.

thanks

Seeing how jrp has let me down I will say it. If anyone doubts or needs info on this cam use the SEARCH button! There are plenty of threads on this cam and it has proven itself. Selling it doesn't mean it is a bad cam. Just means they either want a bigger, or smaller cam or are parting out an old engine build up. Getting used parts is sometime the best way to get what you need. Good luck with your selection and if you need more info check the search.

Here is a Dyno graph of a stock 241 headed 02 LS1 with the 231/237 112LSA. Car to my knowledge had full bolt ons, ported TB, ASP, LTs etc......
If your going with a 370CI motor then by all means go bigger on the cam than the 231/237. I would call a couple of our sponsors and let them know your situation, have them make a custom cam to suit your needs. More than likely it will work a whole lot better than a off the shelf grind.
