another will this cam clear my 5.3 heads thread i have TEA stage 2 5.3 truck heads with 2.02 Ferrea intake valves, and 1.55 UDI exhaust valves and the heads are milled .015. Stock rockers, valve springs that handle up to 650 lift, hardened stock length push rods. Stock bottom end 98 Ls1 with stock thickness head gaskets. Does anyone know if this cam will work? or is it piston to valve slam city? Cam specs are:
231/237 .598" .595" 112 LSA With 4 degrees of advance ground into the cam. These heads i have were owned by Verbs and he said he had a G5x3 cam with these heads and everything cleared. this cam is smaller than a g5x3, but the only real thing worrying me is the 4 degrees of advance. Can that be a problem for piston to valve clearance? Still a newbie to cams for Ls1's so bare with me. If this cam will work im going to buy it and il leave everyone alone.
