g5x3 install ?

Mine is on a 114LSA. When it is installed what should it have been? Straight up or with any advance? Just checking to make sure.

STRAIGHT UP, dot to dot, NO advance, you don't have a ton of room to work with in regards to PTV clearance, making sure it's dot to dot is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!!!

No problem, just wanted make sure you get it in right, my X3 was dot to dot and works perfectly.

pardon me for jumping in with stupid questions but what does g5x3 stand for. i am having trouble with the meanings of abbreviations and such like what is an A4? how do you know what your car is? thanks.
