Default Fabricating PCV

I know that there is a plate that is sold to replace the plate where the knock sensors go and it has a PCV outlet (Corvette?) but I was wondering, what stops me from drilling out my own hole there and running it to a seperator and vacuum pump?

Take a look here for some clues. I Dont know exactly how the pcv system works. You can get the ls6 valley cover for around 65 bucks i think.
Actually, it looks like if you just drill a hole and put vacuum to it you will suck up incredible amounts of oil. The 2001+ valley cover is baffled so you dont suck up oil, where yours would just a hole.

Ok, this looks like something I can definantly fabricate, if I drill the hole and make a splash guard around it where gas can get sucked past it should work like a champ and cost me nothing.
