Short: Engine swap costs?

Hey all, quick question for you: What kind of ballpark do folks normally charge to do a straight motor swap - pull one, drop in the other.

Car is a '97 C5 - which I imagine is a bit more involved than the F-bodies...

About $1500ish is the price to install my original stroker.

$1300 is what we're charging one of our customers to swap motors in his C5. A healthy chunk of that is going to the GM certified Vette Tech we're bringing in to do the swap. Hope that helps.

I have been quoted anywhere from $1,000 to $1,500 for an engine swap in my C5. What area are you in?

I charged $700 for an FBody.
