Default All Hotcam owners, INSIDE! PLEAASE!

Guy's, I need your help. I need to know what your cars put down powerwise, with what mods, and on what kind of dyno. Please post the year of the car and, if possible, who/where did the tune? Thanks!

I'm not trying to pick a cam, it's too late for that. I'm trying to see what other hotcam owners put down with theirs.

I think the Hot Cam is good for about 35 or so HP.

I have tuned several of these setups, HP ranges from 370-390s rwhp depending on bolt-ons.

Ok... well, with the following mods in my sig, minus the 4.10's (I had my stock 3.42's at the time) I put down 344.7 HP and 329.8 ft. lbs of torque @APE on their Mustang dyno after Keith tuned it. I figured something wasn't right, now after a little research I'm SURE something isn't right. A different (internally stock) 99 SS like mine minus the LS6 intake, springs, pushrods, and cam, with FLP headers and a cutout, made 334 hp and 326 ft/lbs after a tune on the EXACT same dyno. So basically, he's within 10hp and 3 ft lb's, with no major modifications. Kinda pisses me off. Both cars are 6 speeds, of the same year and have approximately the same mileage (within 3,000 miles of each other)

390/378 untuned 2000 T/A Dyno Jet, numbers are STD mods in sig and I have heard of a few people dipping into the 400rwhp cam only Hot cam car! I need a tune and under drive pulley, thinking of bigger rocker arms, but got a set of heads and new cam waiting to be put on.

There are a couple of us that have the Hotcam but only one has made it to the dyno recently. And it was a dynojet with SAE numbers.

Well these posts seem bogus. Everyone said the hotcam sucks and much better cams are out there. I could swear people brag pretty hard about 390-400 rwhp with all bolt ons stock heads. Makes me kind of wish I had bought another one. My 224/228 581 112+2 made 383/365. See sig. It does sound like either something isn't right with yours or the dyno is a very low one.
