Yeah that's Kieth Dorton of Automotive Specialits. They make Hooters Cup motors for the most part and his brother his Randy Dorton who's the head cheese at Hendrick's Engine Shop.
Mahle makes some extremely good pistons, the forged race pistons are expensive but very good.

I know that a lot of the top drag racing engines are running CP Pistons, especially in Pro Stock - CP are also considered superior to JE and were used on a certain 388 SB Ford that cranked out over 1000hp on carbs and gas (no nitrous or boost and possibly a world record). That little carby engine is now knocking on the 6's in A/D class.
