I doubt it's a valve, is it piston slap or a bearing? Hows the oil pressure?

Pull you valve covers & check your push rods. You need to take the rockers off to do this. You prolly bent some push rods, hopefully no valves. You would have to do a leak down on all the cylinders to be sure. How does it run?

You probably bent pushrods. Believe me, you are from from the first to make a 3-2 shift!

I Checked My Pushrods And One Was Broke And 2 Bent
But Replaced Them With Manley Pushrods
It Runs Alright When Its Not Knocking
When Its Knocking It Idles Funnyand
Air/fuel Guage Goes Crazy Back And Forth
How Would U Do A Leak Down On The Cylinders

You'd do a leakdown using a leakdown tester and compressor. $90 or so at Jegs/Summit/wherever.

An easier test might be to remove your oil filter and cut it open. A pair of side cutters works for me, no grinders or saws as you'll get metal everywhere. When the filter's apart, inspect the paper media for metal flakes...separate the pleats and look w/ a flashlight. If you have visible metal, your engine's toast or close to it.

Also, describe the process you used to test your pushrods for bending. Did you replace all the pushrods, or just the damaged ones?

They also got compression testers at AutoZone that you can get and all u do is put down a deposit and when u take it back they give your deposit back to you if its not broke.

It's possible you got the wrong length pushrods. Can't tell without the part#.

It's possible you didn't install the rockers correctly and one or more are loose. There's a procedure on here somewhere, basically it's possible to get 22#/ft of torque on the rocker bolt but not have it seated fully, due to the lifter being full of oil and exerting pressure back on the pushrod.

I'd cut and inspect the oil filter, then go back and repeat the rocker tightening process using the right procedure.
