Head opions
Head opinions I have asked a few people and looked at quite a few threads, but nothing turely applies to my desires, so here I sit:
What would be a good set of heads to run with a TR220 or TR224 for the lower to mid-range power.
My use of this is for autocross, so I am looking for the smooth lower end power/torque (ie: 2500-4500). Other "mods" that are assisting flow would be a lid, ported TB (S2) and Hooker LTs on the back end
(intake possibly to come at a later date - LS6 or FAST not to be included in configuration).
I know about the AFR 205's but I looking for something less expensive (like a stock 241 or something ported "job"). I am not looking for unGodly HP, but with the mods I have I would like to see 390 to 400.....but again, PEAK IS NOT IMPORTANT - it is what's behind the curve is what I'm looking for.

FFHP has some pretty trick heads at great costs. JRP runs a set. Also hit up TEA, they usually crank out some pretty good #'s/track times. Like you said, peak isn't the last word....but you also have to make sure the porter knows how to translate good port design to well performing functionality. FFHP and TEA have that down pat.
