I had an oil pressure fluctuation problem... around 40 cold, dropped down to 20 warm and bounced around a lot. I also was down around 10hp or so.

Had a spun crankshaft bearing and a few spun rod bearings.

Did the spun bearings make any abnormal noise ?
Metal shavings anywhere ?

Could be the 0-ring even though you replaced it. I was really carefull with mine, but still managed to slice it apparantly as part of it came out in my oil filter.
Had to go back in and redo it. Now everything is good to go.
I'd suggest you look there.

Has anyone used autotap to see if maybe the oil pressure sending unit is faulty? Example, what would it mean if your autotap display read the voltage for the oil pressure unit to be 0 and your gauge was actually at 10 psi or so?

Just a thought.
