Weight of stock block and heads?

How much would stock LS1 block and heads weigh? Trying to figure out shipping costs

I would also like to know how much the ls1 block weighs and also how much the 408 iron block weighs. Does anyone know?

the LQ9 iron block weighs about 100LBS more, but total weight I am not sure

LS1=91lbs
LS1 heads=20lbs each
iron block=183lbs

This according to the GM service manual. (Bare block and head castings)

i thought i read somewhere that the bare aluminum block weighed from 130 to 150?!?

i just received my ls1 block crank and heads on a pallet....shipping weight charged was 248lbs

Crank weighs in at 55 lbs, will weigh my block and heads when I get home monday morning.

dry wieght on a ls1 motor intake to oil pan is 390lbs. iron blocks can add 70lb to that

I've read that the LS1 block weighs 107 lbs and teh crank at 45 lbs :S
