trex cam on untune help????

Default trex cam on untune help????

trex cam on untune how will it run untill i get it tuned and will it be a good cam for my car i have lt hooker headers and alumiunm intake,410 gears cars a 6 speed .......i drive the car usually just on the weekends .....does this sound like a good cam for me or what is ???????? i want soemthing that makes good power that sounds like the trex .........help please

You will need to adjust the screw on your throttle body and open it up some or your car won't idle.

mine idled when it was not tuned but since i put bigger injectors in it ran very rich and would load up but with stock injectors you could have drivin it

Are you sure that you want to go with the trex? If your not real serious about going to the track, I would pick a different cam. Look at the fm13, tsp 231/237, or the tsp torquer. Maybe even the g5x3 or something. Any of these cams will give you much more midrange and more useable power. Just something to think about. They will still lope pretty hard too!

From what I hear its a badass cam. It would put down some good numbers and be much more driveable than the trex in my opinion. Definately give the guys at tsp a call and they can help you pick a cam for your application.

thanks im gonna call tsp and lgmotorsports and a few others tomorrow.....trex sounds killer but think its to much of a cam for me

exactly

picking a cam based on how it sounds is just plain moronic. you pick a cam based on application, not sound. what good is a cam that lopes like crazy but gets its *** kicked by someone who has dialed in there setup.

i went wit the magic stick cam from tsp post to got it put in friday night but dude that post to do it never showed so now im just gonna buy the spring compresser tool and stuff and try and do it myself maybe save myself some money and good learnin experinse(SP) this way i learn it maybei can get paid to do it for someone
