I would like to know if you can use the 918's with this cam, or would I just be pushing the limit here. Would the 987's be the better choice, I do not know much about these and have read somewhere that the head had to be machined to accept these. Any info. would be appreciated as so I don't get myself in a world of hurt later. If possible please email me as my connection is slow. Thanks to all in advance.

Use the 918's, they are good to .600 lift and have been proven to be good springs. If the heads are off the car then it would be best to go to the dual springs. I wish I had but I bought the springs before I decided to have my heads ported.

a bunch of my friends run those springs with a .581 lift cam and no issues yet...
i broke a 918 with my 224 .563 114 but that was because of the OLD DEFECT WITH COMP!!!! they have that fixed now though
