Default Does an LS6 cam require different pushrods with stock heads?

A sponser here told a friend of mine that he has to have different pushrods to run the LS6 cam in a stock LS1 headed car?? Am I missing something or is the shop wrong? I thought you only need custom pushrods if your heads are milled... It was something about the LS6 valve stems are longer?????

Well, I won't be getting the heads milled... I'm just going to go with the LS6 cam and springs. Just wasn't sure about the needing of the pushrods. If everyone is using the stock pushrods, then I'm going to order my cam and springs tonight!
