Default Can I leave QTP's in place while I install heads?

I'm in the middle of a Head's/cam and header install, I was thinking of sliding the headers in place from the top while my heads are off the car(more room I'm hoping) then letting them hang while I install the heads. I was able let the FLP's hang while I installed my head's, am I able to do the same with QTP's? Thanx in advance.

I know that part of the install from JMX is to unbolt the headers, and let them hang.

I'm not too sure about the installing of them from the top. You may be the first to try it.

I had to pull my headers out from under the car as their was not enough room to properly torque the lower head bolts with the headers hanging there. HTH

You can put them in before the heads, I've done it once each way, its about the same.

Headers are not that hard to install when the kmember is loose and motor is free from it, which is the case every time I have installed headers.
