Well guys went to the track and sprayed the car. I burnt 4 spark plugs amd finished the race with an 11.4. I left it at a local shop and they told me a piece was stuck in a valve. They will charge me 500 dollars of labor for fixing it and 300 dollars in parts. Is this a good price for labor since THE HEADS have to come off?? Yes they do good work.......

If it is just one valve that is stuck open, then they are just going to have to take one head off. They might have to replace that valve. Shouldn't be that much for one valve and doing a valve job on the other valves. IMO. Also i wouldn't pay that much for someone to take off one head. I do head installs for 300$. IMO

If you melted tips off you might be running too lean, I hope you did not burn a valve, good luck!

Don't know why I burnt the plugs...I have the T-Rex Fuel System, NGK TR6's, etc. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

OK guys I sprayed off the line thats probably the problem. I already bought an MSD Activation Switch<---Is that different than a Window Switch bc the shop guys said taht was only to activate the Nitrous not shut it off, and I wanted to shut it off before the Limiter??

Any input? MTI is charging 500 dollars for 1 Head <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />

Darn, I talked to a local shop and they told me that they would charge me 300 dollars for one head but they said..."Dont be suprised if its the pistons as well, alot of LS1's usually burn their Pistons as well" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Damn, just when I think taking the heads off is bad, they tell me it might be the pistons as well?

MTI told me more than likely a piece of plug was stuck in the valve..???? <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" /> Any input please!!
