I'm with Nathaniel on this one....dead horse. Great prices tho.
Definitely a good deal for those who can't afford TEA/MTI/AFR
heads but still want a lil more out of their motor

with the low price of the stg 2 "ls6" heads does that mean your going to phase out the 5.7/5.3 castings or whats the new price on those?

Can't find these on your website Gunnar....you have mail.

But let me say if these are the ones your banner link takes me to (the ones that show up as $1895 on your website) you can consider 1 set sold!

I dont think they are going out of the LS1 head business. They have tons of HUGE distributors (Summit, JC Whitney etc etc)

I doubt they'll be going anywhere for a while. I'd like to see flow data on the new designs.

Do you make a low comp 310cfm plus 6L head?

I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call...888-462-8276. They're very freindly guys to deal with. They could answer these questions in a matter of seconds rather than having to wait for a response here.

And BTW, no, I'm in no way affiliated with them, nor do I know even one of them personally. I'm just sick of seeing the childish follow the leader bashing here...If only 2% of say 400 sets left with some sort of flaw, that makes 8 issues. If they only put out say 100 sets as maybe some of the sponsers here, that's only 2 issues (based on percentage). Do you guys see what I'm getting at here? They are high volume. Per volume, probably ALL offering hand finished heads have atleast 2 issues out of 100 completed sets of heads. Custom is custom. It just comes with the territory...

I could call out atleast 3 here by name that refuse to say they're more than satisfied with theirs JUST because of the BS that's been going on here. Childish, yes, but their problem...

To you @ Patriot Performance I wish you only the best

Got my attention!

What is the final compression of the stage II (GM gasket) and is there any interference issue with a TR 220/220 114 Cam (.551 lift)?

Thanks

folks we deal with Gunnar and the folks at PP quite a bit and have always been pleased with the level of support we have received from them. we are doing some independent R&D and will soon have some flow numbers to post on the LS6 style heads.

I love my PP LS6 stage III heads on my 427. Good product and good service and now better prices. Maybe some of the other head mfgs. should take note. I bet that half the people who bash PP still have factory heads.

Gunnar, what change did Patriot make to be able to sell these heads for so cheap and stay in business?

Its simple, more people selling their heads, more volume less cost per head

I do not currently sell all 3 of them, but I have sold and installed all 3 of them. The PRC kit is the best engineered kit that I have installed, period. The cranes springs will need to be shimmed for pressure. The patriots spring is good, but the other parts in the kit have to much clearance ( doesn't fit together correctly ).The cheapest price product is not always the best.It may end up costing money in the end.

LMFAO... Straight from the "dead horses" mouth Feel free to bash away at me, but remember you guys used to LOVE Terry and always commended him on his honesty/customer service.... I know hes not with PP anymore, doesnt that make a few of you say hmmmmmmmm?!?!?!?!

BTW, Patriot has the ABILITY to make a decent product, whether they do or not is up in the air This has been shown time and time again

When buying a set of heads you should buy them because of quality, not price.

Aren't all LS6 casting heads the same? Aren't all CNC jobs the same?
If they are the same and are CNC'd LS6 casting heads, wouldn't you want the cheapest?

Sorry, I am a total newb. I don't even know what these Stage I, II, III designations mean.
