Default FRE "BIG UGLIES" LS1 HEADS anyone using them

Is anybody using these F.R.E. "BIG UGLIES" LS1 heads.
Are the gains there or is the money better off spent on a set of LS6 heads?

I have seen them on E-bay, seems to be a nicely done head. I do not know anyone personally that runs 'em though.

Quite strange indeed. These are the heads they throw on Ebay but Felber can't seem to find the time to do work for local people who contracted with him 6-9 months prior. This is happening to a friend of mine still. My advise would be to call him and find out if he is your man to invest your $$$ and time with. I have my personal issues with him and his "helper" in regards to their lack of professionalism and respect, among other things. Call and make your own decision.
EDIT!
Like it has been said countless times before on here regarding heads, Call the sponsors and pick the one you feel comfortable spending your money with who can achieve your goals.

WHOA!!! Glad I found this post. To any and all here...Keith happens to have a MAJOR problem with a kid who works for me (Who whipped his *** pretty good in a grudge match BTW). Keith has had a personal vendetta against the guy who works for me, my shop, and will say anything he feels nescessary to get some form of twisted revenge. His "send me an AIM" is one of his tactics. As for the "friend" he talks abaout....They're not friends..They know eachother through a common friend. AND this friend made several different moves on a long term project. It moved from a 9 second combo to an 8 second combo..Moved from wedge heads to Yates heads etc....The customer and myself have no issues, and he has since decided to cash out, and go to a more mild combo. So Keith..Spin your web..you know what you're full of.

Keith, I'm sorry you and Dave haven't worked out your problems, and I'm sure you never will...But AGAIN, I will tell you to leave your personal hatred of Dave and myself on a personal level...LEAVE MY BUSINESS OUT OF IT!

The reason we have MTI sheets on the site was an accident. We didn't "Post them", they were an image in my hard drive. When I decided to get into the LS head biz, I looked at the numbers other people were getting. I copied the image for reference to know what I was up against and what the competition was seeing out of these heads...I personally think MTI has some nice looking stuff. The guy who's doing my website took pictures randomly out of my computer for the photo gallery, and that's how it wound up there..Plain and simple..

I figured I'd copy my reply on another thread to this one...Sorry everyone had to read the "EDITED" crap from my favorite fan.

"Hey guys...Someone linked me to this thread. And thanks for the interest and good words. I'm mostly known for my hardcore old school domestic stuff, but as of recent I've been doing a LOT of late model heads. With about 90% of it LS Gen IIIs. I ported my first LS head only about 4 months ago, and have already sold at least 20 pairs. So far my feedback has been great. The 5.3 Big Uglies have seen between 396 and 452 RWHP on 4 different customer cars in varying level of mods on independent dynos across the country, And that's just our mid level head..We're currently doing a lot of R+D for our "XXX" line.

I've been keeping things under wraps, until I feel we've taken the heads to their potential, so that's why I haven't done much to promote them. I've sold a few sets on ebay mainly to draw in some people, and establish some connections/feedback..So far, so good.....

Thanks again

I live locally with felber and have had my personality conflicts with him but thats on a personal level with him.. On a business level i can say that i have seen quite a few cars with his name on them that truly do haul ***.. there a a bunch of local "big hitters" who swear by him and his work.. i at one time before the debut of the big uglies thought of working with him but opted for the value (and i use that term lightly) of the patriot heads
it's costing me now but gunnar is helping me out big time...

All you can do is talk to the man explain to him your combo and see what he sais.. A phone call doesn't hurt no one.

Mike

edit... i would also like to say my conflict with felber was minimal at best.. just a little bickering.. thought i should throw that in

All "sounds" good Keith. Just let their "comfort" be from me, without your bashing of Dave and my affiliation. I mean..Seriously.....just make your car faster, or be happy with what you have and we wouldn't have this problem.

To any and all.....Amongst our LOCAL BS......There was plenty of shttalk. almost a YEAR ago...., and in our local streetracing EXCLUSIVE message board, we've thrown plenty of blows, but I always thought that was between you and I, not keeping track of you BS across the Internet. Where I come from, racing tends to have that in the mix...And all I ask is....Shttalk on a streetracing board be one thing...But to have your *** handed to ya, and calculate a smear campain out of spite to feel better, all the while trying to damage another man's business is another.

The kid who works for me and used to get picked on by Keith (That's another long story deserving of a good read), came back around after some of my instruction to bury him on the street. Unfortunately for all involved, the hatred has brewn ever since.

I'm no angel, and I know I've probably not been the nicest person to him in that arena, but Keith talks smack and does his little private IM propaganda, and won't let it go. In his mind, "I" won't let it go when it's all about the guy who works for me and him.....

And YES...I'm an A-hole in the minds of some people who don't know me.....I could talk about what a great person I am, but that's a moot point...Bottom line...I make POWER.....That IS my #1 job, and I consider friendships something that are built through face to face time spent..Not PC asskissing over the internet. I save my politics for people I care about...So if you like to win, and don't need someone to powder your *** when it gets whipped....You may actually like me. And if not..You may actually find out I'm a nice guy regardless...As long as one of my guys doesn't kick your ***, and bring down your house of cards. LOL
