There's an idle stop on the side of the throttle body. You'll need a Torx15 to adjust it.
You can't adjust the advance mechanically. Your local tuner can do it w/ LS1Edit, & also adjust the idle speed.

Very minor adjustments can be made with the set screw. Anything too drastic will cause the IAC counts to be off and cause surging and random idle speed. And if the throttle blade does not close far enough the RPM decay will be slow(ie when you rev it will return to idle slowly).

All I want to is adjust the idle down about 100 rpms. It idles too high for me, about 900 rpms, which I know is where it is supposed to but I would like it to be idled down a little. Will this be ok? I am going to have to make a trip to Thunder Racing as noone here will tune an LS1. <img border="0" alt="[cry]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cry.gif" />
