I use ARP studs on about 90% of my installs and never a problem with noise/oil consumption that would be associated with out of round bores..So no,there isn't any problem with studs

I speed 90% of the time and never have a problem with cops.

I'd like to use studs, but not until I'm ready to pull the engine. Good luck!
