engine remove I am pulling the engine out the bottom on my 98 ls1, i got the kmember lose so i could dorp it a bit to try to get to teh last upper bolt on the bell houseing, its an auto car
but i am wondering after those 6 bolts are out will it me loose from the tranny or i gto to remove the bolts from the flywheel to the torgue converter
also how will i go by pulling the shaft out of the tranny just slide the engine foward would it come out...

Pull the trans out first. Remove the drive shaft. Or you can just slide the trans back enough to clear the engine. You don't need to take off the flywheel. Just take the converter bolts out and let it stay with the trans. Then let it drop!
