Cam power band questions.

Cam power band questions. If a cam has a power band of 3500-6700 rpms, does that mean it will produce its peak power at 6700 rpm? What exactly does power band mean? Do you shift a 100-200 rmps above the highest point in the power band?

SMOKIN01TA: Its probably because on Thunder Racing's site it has the power band listed under the T-Rex's specs. So yours peaked at 6800 and carried it to 7000 before it dropped?
