Default How big of cam?

I plan to do heads/cam install this coming spring. I want a good heads & cam package that will work best with a 3500 tci ssf converter. I want a big cam.

I plan to use my heads and just have them worked. Stage 2 porting, ferreavalves 2.02 intake & 1.57 exhaust, prolly have them milled too.

Info on cam specs, where to buy, ect ect would be helpful. -Thanks

3500 is too small a stall for a heads and cam car. It will not take full advantage of the powerband provided by the h/c package.

TR228 and some stage 2 heads would be killer. Make sure you match the gears as well as the stall.

I wouldn't say that. It's why it's important to match your entire combination together for maxium performance. Too many factors to say one piece won't allow someone to take full advantage of their Heads/Cam package.

SScottie,

What application do you plan on using this in?

Any Power adders?

Never-the-less I'd say a Fast intake / AFR 205 / Proper cam setup would do the job.

Im going to use the factory ls1 heads and just have them worked as i said above. As far as any power adders go. I plan to install an ati d-1sc procharger eventually. I'm trying to stay away from nitrous.

That converter will work fine possibly even a lil loose I'd get the heads ported, flow them with your intake on and find someone who can help ya out.
