Ive got a 5.3 im building up and i wondered how much better the stock heads would flow if i cut away some of the alum. and smooth out the ports. would i be able to feel the difference? im doing cam, headers and nitrous.

Taking the ramp out, rocker arm bolt boss, and streamline the guide boss takes out 15cc or so of material and gives you 30 cfm or so. Exhaust side just streamline the guide boss and blend the whole port from valve seat to the edge of the port and then polish the combustion chamber.
