Cam swap question (redundant again)

Default Cam swap question (redundant again)

I am new to the LS1.tech scene, and I am working w/a fellow F-body tech to install a slightly used Comp Cam XE w/224 intake, but not sure which model.

Purpose: Obtain max HP at minimal cost, and here is what we have planned.

New springs, pushrods, retainers/keepers(upon my insistance), but no new rocker arms or lifters.

I currently have dual 3" electric cut-outs behind the cats (inserted in the Y-pipe) on a set of SLP LT headers. Other than tuning, any other recommendations? I cannot see the cost justification for changing rockers.

I don't see why you would need to change rockers either.
In going to guess 385 rwhp if you already have a pulley and ported tb.

Cool, I was hoping 375-380! Sounds on target, thanks!

Nope, no upgraded throttle body yet, or at least not until I go further into debt w/diff heads/cam. (Underdrive pulley is not an option yet, not w/2000W worth of amps).

I'll check back later, when more money is available!
