Default low compression

Thinking about having low compression pistons put in and different cam so I cam put on STS Turbo and crank up boost a little. What should something like that cost and what should I look out for?

Cam is anywhere from 350 to 500 depending on who you get it from. Pistons and rings that are custom spec run something like 675-800. Then there is the labor and all the small things like arp rod bolts, oil pump, timing chain, valve springs, push rods, misc. bearings and gaskets. It can add up pretty quick if your not doing the labor. I would stick with the stock block and add in a front mount intercooler with a meth injection kit if moneys tight. If it's not then go for it!
