Question Stall/Cam Question

What would be the recommended stall to run with a TR 224/224 114LSA cam on a daily driven 2004 GTO?

Run what ever name brand 3000 converter you want. I see some people running even more stall than that on the street, it just depends on what your goals are.

I would use a 3500 .After 3 weeks its going to feel like it should have came that way. Might require some pcm tuning but well worth it!!!!!(setting codes)

What's the rear gear ratio in an A4 GTO? If it's 3.23 or lower (higher number), than I'd go with something in the 3200-3500 stall speed range.

I had a Yank TT2800 and later a Yank ST3500 in my 3.23 geared '99 Camaro SS and first a Yank 3000 and now a Yank SY3500 in my 3.15 to 3.73 geared Corvette, so I have some experience with aftermarket converters.
