getting 8.5:1 cr on an LS1?

with 9.0:1 to cr pistons from Diamond, what size head gasket would I need to get 8.5:1 or is there a better way of getting 8.5:1?

6.0l heads would help. Also check the sticky at the top of the page.

I'm not sure what stock size is someone else might chime in about that. My 6.0l from mti are 2.02in. 1.56ex.

i believe 6.0l heads have 71.06cc combustion chambers and 2.00in 1.55ex valves the same as ls1 heads.

you are correct. its the 4.8/5.3 heads that have a smaller intake valve 1.89 vs 2.00.
