Default cam ?

I am installing an 01ls6 cam in my 98Z28 and was woundering if the base circles are the same on my stock cam and the ls6 or will I need different push rods

not sure what base circles are but i dunno why you'd have to change pushrods. I know when i bought a cam i didn't have to use different lenth pushrods and my cam is much larger than the 01 ls6 cam. You should just be able to use the stock 7.4's.

Like gitsum said your stock ones should be fine. I have thunders hardened 7.4 length works fine.

The base circle is smaler but when I had my ls6 cam in the 7.4s worked fine.

I searched and found it is 19mm vs 19.7mm. I don't know if that is true or not.
