Default Cam selection

I'm planning on doing a cam and longtubes over the winter. I want to be able to drive on the street without major tuning issues. I'm currently looking at the MTI R1 or Z1 or the TSP 233/.589 112. What do you guys think? I don't plan on using an LG cam in case you are wondering. I'd like to stick to MTI, TSP, Cartek, or Futural. TIA

No, but i spend enough time on this board swallowing feedback. And FMS has an outstanding rep when it comes to choosing cams.

I have MTI Stealth II, 404rwhp/383rwtq (cam only+ full bolt on) no EWP

TSP 233/233 torquer cam has no stats to date that we've heard, should be 5-10 rwhp less than the 231/237 but better power band and more streetable, early version of the cam(which was 232/232) i heard was doin like 400 rwhp. i would like to learn more of the mti stealth cam, does it stound like a stock idle pretty much? also do you know how much power you had w/ just bolt ons predator? or someone else with the stealth 2?

What's the problem with using LG's Cams???

I'm running one of his grinds and it runs very well, very streetable and very nice powerband...

Besides, with a 233/233 .589/.589 112 LSA...You will require some tuning, just to get it streetable...i.e. start with cranking the crap out of it...Not stall every time you let off the gas...No surging and hunting for rpms...etc....

Peace...Gman

I had 362rwhp bolt ons, I gained 42rwhp with the cam and lighter valvetrain.

Nobody said there was a problem with LG cams. I said I didn't want to use one. I didn't want 100 reply's telling me the x3 is the only good cam on the market.

Hey, relax guy...I was just asking why you made the decision to not use an LG cam...Thought maybe you knew of a problem or some drawback to his cams...

I'm sure that the X3 cam isn't the only good cam on the market...But, then again...100's of people couldn't all be wrong could we??? The X3 made a believer out of me...

Peace...Gman
