Morel, Crane, Jessel, Comp, Schuebuck.

Morel, Crane and Comp are all between $400 and $600

Jessel's are $1300? maybe that's the rocker arms can't remember...

Schuebuck are in the $900 range.

If the base circle of your cam is smaller than 1.400", you'll have oil pressure problems with the Cranes (the cut on the lifter drops below the oil gallery, causing an internal oil leak). I had to switch to the Morel lifters to fix it with my new cam. Morels are nice pieces, and are less expensive than the Comps. The Comps also use a much longer pushrod (7.90"-8.00"), while the Morels use our "standard" length (7.35"-7.40"). I don't have any experience with any of the others mentioned.

Default Solid lifters

Two more companies make solid lifters for the LS1. Isky makes a drop in replacement, Crower has a new tie bar unit.

The Isky's drop in solids are under $400. I don't have a price yet on the Crower units.

Around $400 or so. Several of our sponsors have them. I got mine from Futral.

I know the Jesel's are$2200 + , of the affordable solid rollers which do you feel is the best for the money and does anyone know the weights of these lifters ? I already have J2K's and they're beautiful but almost a $140 apiece for lifters from Jesel is too much .
