Hey Gman, did they tell ya the reason for running a 0.050" shorter pushrod? I can see where that would cause some preload problems if the heads had not been milled.

BTW I am running the same Camshaft with the crane 1.7s. Only difference is I am running comp R lifters. This cam rocks.

No, I didn't know any of the details regarding the size of the pushrods, until I pulled them to do the rocker swap...I should do a search to see what is recommended for pushrod length with this cam...

And, yes, this cam does rock...Pulls as strong as stock below 2000 rpms...But when the revs get to 2500 and beyond...Holy $hit...You better be hanging on to something...

Stock length Pushrod is 7.400" The Crane kit comes with 7.250" due to the different geometry. If the heads were milled then you would need a shorter pushrod.

Ya, I'd guess the only question I would have is what is recommended length with the G5X3 cam...Not sure what it's base circle dia. is relative to the LS6 cam...
