That would work however I don't have any tuning software and I don't feel like paying for a tune each time I need emissions, and then a correction tune thereafter. Any other way of getting around that?

I passed emissions with long tube headers with no emissions equiptment and no mufflers. Everywhere now pretty much uses a ODB-II reader. I just used o2 simulators for the back o2 sensors and made sure the computer wasn't throwing codes. The key is just making sure it has been through a few driving cycles with no codes.

That is pretty much what they do around here. I'm just afraid that when i pull up and rattle the windows off the shop, they're gonna start snooping around under the car. And then that's just too much money lost on long tubes.
