Default Working on drivers side head now. HHEELLPP

All day longi've been at this. Passanger side head come off with little trouble, now driver side head is a P.I.T.A. I've got 1 or 2 problems: 1st one is the steering knuckle is in the way, took of the (1) bolt that holds it and pryed on it, wouldn't move 1 millimeter . Which brings me to #2: tryed removing the header from that side, but its next to impossible, once I loosened the band-clamp the damn pipe still wont move a millimeter. The x-pipe on back is a welded one piece assembly. What do I do now? I only see one bolt on the steering knucle, could there be 2? and thats why it's not moving? Please help me, I'm 1 minute from using my sawzall on everything.

I'm guessing the one bolt you removed from the steering knuckle was the one on top below the brake booster?? If so, there's another on the bottom of the assembly; just get underneath the car, find the steering knuckle, and trace it all the way down to the bottom and you'll find it.

Hope that helps.

Wait a minute, repet that again. The bolt I removed
was 1 inch from the u-joints on the knuckle. Are you saying there is one more bolt underneath where the one bolt came out from.

There are 2 bolts, one on each end. One is by the steering rack, while the other is located on the other end by the brake booster.

And after you get them out, you'll have to SHAKE THE HELL OUT OF IT to get it off. At least I did.

Once you have the bolts out of it, make sure to jack up the tire on that side, unlock the steering wheel with the ignition key, then you can turn the steering knuckle by hand. Should twist off. Same thing putting it back on.

There are 2 bolts holding the steering knuckle on. 1 above and 1 below of the u-joint. I would not unlock the steering wheel when taking the knuckle off. It will cause you to possibly make your steering wheel ****-eyed and not sit straight. Once you get both bolts out, it should slide right off.
