that was a quick valve swap did you just leave them in there? you beetter do a compression test. valve meats piston = not good.

I had the guy that ported the heads check the valves all good. It was the 2 degrees advance that we did on the cam with the adjustable timing chain that did it.

no chance 2 degrees equled 1/4 inch of lift! thats .25 most cams have .600 thats near 1/3 of the lift . you running a squar lobe cam . this post is crazy. if your valves hit enough to sound like a desal they are bent and are not ok. unless you replaced them and then set it back up there not "MONEY" also if you touched (at idle)with 2 degrees of advance than your cam is way close and when you rev it to 6800 its gona touch again

funny but this is what happened i dont know if my buddy screwed the timing up the first time. and turned it to much. but i got the guy that ported the heads to check my valves there wasnt anything wrong with them i can send whoever a pic of the drivers side pistons after we pulled the head back off. it is with a digital camara. Maybe i got lucky or this is why it is running with no power?

do a compression test on all of the cylinders.
