Default hmmmm which of these cams to get...

ok well i have been talking with Allan at futral and just recently Jason at TSP. TSP has some great deals on cams right now too, but then i keep hearing about futral is great wiht cams. im going to keep the stock bottom end, no fly cutting, and prob some AFR heads.

the TSP cam for me is lookin like the MS3, how does this cam perform and how does it run in the car? ie. idle, surge and all that good stuff. also with this cam how much power with the AFR's could i look at with good tuning? what should i do?!

im leaning towards TSP, prob go futral when i do the bottom end and want a bigger cam or something, where i dont have pv clearance issues. but then again i kinda want a cam thats my own, that noone else has, dont ask why its just how i am i wanna be different, not by much just a little lol. i wanna make some good power, esp under the curve and i wanna run fast too. give me some info guys! thanks! btw how would it sound with GMMG cat back and no cats

Just remember when picking a cam that a cam designed for max effort on stock heads might not be the best selection for a ported heads setup. How the cam runs is probably gonna come down to tuning if you go that big.

I agree. The quality of the tune is the most important aspect of drivability with the bigger cams.

With a good tune there will not be any surging or stalling problems even with the bigger cams on the market today.

Proud G5X3 Cam owner here. Similar to that MS.

Although the MS3 may work well with stock heads, I believe it would still work well with ported heads as well. I mean...... how could it not?
