its pacesetter headers, off road Y, and opened cutout.
You could make it quieter, but why?

The 233/239 would work fine with your 3000 stall and 3.73's as far as drivability is concerned, but it will certainly benefit a lot more from a higher stall speed torque converter. A 3500 stall speed with 3.73's will put you right at 5,000 RPM on shift extensions, and that would be the minimum I'd recommend for some decent performance. As for nitrous use, the 233/239 camshaft will respond VERY well.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I hadnt really planed on changing gears yet (still have 3.23's). should i step it up to 3.73's before the cam swap (either 231/237 or 233/239)

I'm getting itchy trigger finger to purchase this cam. Just spoke with TSP and it should be ok with the 987's on my 1.5's (due to the way TEA sets them up). Oh man, just when I thought I swapped out my last cam......

It sounds like a sick cam to me. I'm still happy with my 231/237. You can't go wrong with any of TSP's cam's.

Jason, will this cam work with Patriot LS6 stage II heads? If so, what size valves do you recommend? What clutch and size rear gears for a 6 speed do you recommend? I've only been asking this for a week and a half!

damn i think i will get this cam with my 3000 stall and 373 gear then!!! i wanna keep my stall speed low for the n2o runs! I dont think many advise u running a 4000 stall with spray for one sounds like u want make it to the end of the 1/4 mile not on the rev limiter.

Hey where does this cam peak at? when im spraying ill still want to shift as early as like 6100 right?

Master Chief, I would love to hear what this cam sounds like through a full exhaust, if you take a video, I'll host it for you.
