You could make it quieter, but why?

The 233/239 would work fine with your 3000 stall and 3.73's as far as drivability is concerned, but it will certainly benefit a lot more from a higher stall speed torque converter. A 3500 stall speed with 3.73's will put you right at 5,000 RPM on shift extensions, and that would be the minimum I'd recommend for some decent performance. As for nitrous use, the 233/239 camshaft will respond VERY well.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

I'm getting itchy trigger finger to purchase this cam. Just spoke with TSP and it should be ok with the 987's on my 1.5's (due to the way TEA sets them up). Oh man, just when I thought I swapped out my last cam......

damn i think i will get this cam with my 3000 stall and 373 gear then!!! i wanna keep my stall speed low for the n2o runs! I dont think many advise u running a 4000 stall with spray for one sounds like u want make it to the end of the 1/4 mile not on the rev limiter.
Hey where does this cam peak at? when im spraying ill still want to shift as early as like 6100 right?
