Default Introducing The Quick Cam & HV Oil Pump

We are proud to introduce our two piece timing cover "The Quick Cam Cover"

It is a two piece timing cover that allows you to access your cam with out pulling the crank pulley. Makes life even easier on the C5 so you dont have to drop the rack and pinion to pull the crank pulley.

A heavy duty piece that is made out of aircraft aluminum. Comes with OEM crank seal and aluminum gasket maker for a proper seal. The GM sealant they use for transfer cases.

Since we designed this cover from scratch we where able to create high volume oil pump. You could not accomplish this with the factory cover due to its size. We enlarged the lower half of the cover to accommodate a larger oil pump.

The QTP oil pump provides more volume of oil at a higher pressure relief setting. The pump is designed with a gerotor designed to displace more than 15% more oil than the original GM design. The relief spring installed in the pump is designed to increase the internal by-pass pressure setting an additional 10 psi. An additional spring is supplied which will reduce the internal by-pass pressure back to original settings. The pump design has also been improved by reducing flow restriction. In addition, pump materials have been changed to improve performance and durability. These changes improve the pump’s efficiency resulting in better performance especially during priming and at low rpm. This is not a ported oem pump. Brand new cast pump that will out performane any ported factory unit!.

A 2mm thicker gear rotor compared to the factory rotor.

The cover clears single roller timing chains. We are double checking for double roller setups since most come with sims. It wont be a problem because we can just change the program for a couple of more millimeters for clearance. Will update on that shortly.

The units are coming off the cnc machine and will be shipping most likely first of the year.

LS2 Quick Cam Cover will be ready in Feb/Mar.

Price of the Cover and Pump is $599.99.
Order before Dec 31st and it will be $550.00 shipped to your door.
You will not be charged until it ships.
Price for the pump and cover is $599.99.

Any questions feel free to call us.

More pictures can be found on the Quick Cam Cover Page.

Question. Is the cover sold be itself? I guess better question do you ahve to use your oil pump with it? Also how in the hell would one line up the dots on the crank with the cam. I know it can be done and I am just curious.

I agree, wouldnt it be a hassle to set it up. I can be done Im sure also but in what way? Would it involve smashing your head up in against the timing chain looking down in there with a flash light and lining them up, or would you use a mirror or something. I guess this product would be useful for bigger displacement guys, turbo or supercharger guys, and all out racers that are swappin different cams all the time trying to find optimal power. At 600 b b b bbob bobo BONESSSSS, sorry I almost choked and had heart attack at that price. I feel most people will stick with the stock pieces. Just my opinion. Good Luck QUICK TIME!!!

The cover is killer. I have a Cloyes adjustable timing set so this would work perfect. Oil pump looks great, but I wonder if it has any long term testing on it? I wouldn't want to be a guniea pig on something like an oil pump.

$600 for a custom machined cover and larger volume oil pump is a pretty good price. The amount of time and $ it costs to machine and design items like this would blow most people out of the water.

I however think it'd be a little more tricky to setup the cam sprocket timing with this cover.

Couldn't you mark the position of the cam sprocket before removing it?

I stopped by to look at this at PRI and it is a bitchin piece. The quality is outstanding and I think I would rather take the time to line up the dots visually than mess with the balancer in the chassis. Nice piece guys.

To answer a couple of questions:
We made the cover so you can see the crank sprocket to line it all up. Plenty of room to get your hand in there.

No worry about testing. We have had the pump on testing machine for quiet some time on have had them on cars for a while. This is a tested part before its released.

We are double checking the double roller set ups. I dont see a problem because we can just change the program and make room.

As for the price. This project took close to a year to make. Its not easy to reverse engineer a factory piece and make it better then the OEM one. Many hours of development.

We made the cover and pump as a package. I never thought i would never get requests for just the cover with all the oiling issues i see people having. So here is the price for the cover alone.

Quick Cam Cover (no pump)-$425.00
