Default heads with my cam?

Well guys, I have a few questions. I have an LQ9 block going into my thirdgen in about 3 weeks. I will be putting in a 4 inch stroke Eagle crankshaft. To give me a 402

1 What sort of power gains will I see from this, if any?

I am looking into a cam similar to the LG G5-X4. What will I need to change to accomodate this cam? Springs, retainers etc? With shorty headers and a LS6 intake, underdrive pulley and a 11.0:1 CR what could I expect to see power wise along with this cam? What sort of fuel adjustments do I need to make? Planning on adding a 150 shot, anything else I need to do?

The engine would have stock LQ9 heads to begin with. Should I wait and buy some PP stage 3 LS6's in the summer or have the LQ9's ported? I am looking for big power (at least 475 to the wheels before the nos ) Will I reach this goal?

there is a lot...first thing get rid of the shorties for some long tubes...i definatly wait and get stg 3 heads...with heads your power should be very easily obtained...nitrous you are going to have to run forged rods and pistons prolly..or at least should to be safe...definatly need upgraded fuel system...i'll let other's chime in because i know nothing about nitrous hardly...i'd say 650hp after all's said and done should be what you would hope for though

Yea I think im gonna do some cut and weld for the headers. Will 1 7/8 LT's do the trick? Does anyone know how big the ls1 manifold flanges are? how about the lq9? Thanks

i believe the reason he has shorty headers is because this is a 3rd gen car and they don't have LT headers out right now that will fit. He would have to get some custom made.

yes your correst camaro cain. Currently I cannot find a set of LTs for a LS1 that wil fit my third gen. Thus I will cut the flanges from the stock LQ9 manifolds and buy a set of LTs for a traditional SBC. Will cut the flanges off of those and weld my LQ9 flanges to the SBC headers and voila I have LS1 LTs for a third gen. Any one tryed this?
