Default Anyone using the "NEW" Drop in Manley duals?

I'm just wondering if anyone is using the new Manley duals? On paper the specs look good at 140@1.8 and 380 open. Plus the price is about right, around $350 with Ti retainers. The only thing makes me wonder is the retainer is .050 which would put the spring at 1.85 on a stock head valve combo? So i guess u would then have to shim it to get the 140 on the seat? Just looking for "Brand Name" dual-I'm also looking at the PRC's and the PP's but are they not the same? Same specs etc and they look the same too? Also I have heard that some of the PP's have failed with a G5X3 cam-is this true? Apparantley there have been no comp 921 failures.

If there has been a properly installed patriot gold failure it's news to me...

There has never been an "in field" failure of a Patriot Gold Spring when properly installed.

On the CF forum I have read Lou from LG quote that they have had the Patriot duals fail with the G5X3-that is why they upgrade every AFR head with the 921's.

To add seat pressure.
Shimmed 30 thousandths I think.
I have no idea.
Used them for valve springs, they work good

On a serious note, they were recommended to me per Allan Futral for the Ron Jeremy cam (236/239 .600/.611 111+4)
