Default I am at a crossroad

I am thinking of purchasing eith a cam or lontubes.I have some funding from the financial advisor(wife). I am considring MTI's stealth 2 cam and pullies, btw hows the pullies? I have Hooker shorties, and Random Tech catted Y. should I do the cam then longtubes? or longtubes first? I know I am leaving power on the table but its one or the other for now, tuning will be last, followed by heads. any advice?

If tuning is LAST, then do the Long Tubes, then the cam.

Long tubes first, then cam.

Pullies are great for freeing up some power and the MTI cam is one of the best making sleeper cam out there.

Have fun!

I did cam first and it sucked. It didn't seem to pull harder, just longer in the higher rpms so it didn't really feel faster.

You already have shorties, go cam. If you need more power you can add the longtubes later.

If you could tune soon, I would go with a cam since you have shorties which help a little, but if tuning is last, go with the LT's.

What are your plans with the car? If this is a real mild build-up you could always go with the LS6 cam, because that doesn't even require tuning.

get the cam first. If you had stock manifolds , i'd say LTs first. You'll still see some gains from longtubes but you've freed up the flow already somewhat by having the shorties. Not a lot , mind you , but somewhat.
