diamond piston are good bang for the buck. i believe they come in 3.898 and 3.905 for off the shelf.

Also there is Probe and Malhe(?) for stock replacements.

another vote for mahale pistons. under $400 bucks a set on ebay with rings. can't beat that

which is better.. 3.893 or 3.905 and go ahead and clean up the bores with a slight hone and make sure they will seat?

I would do the 3.898, that will leave a little room to grow on if you ever want to do another build. The bores will need to be honed with either set though.
The 3.898 set will need to be honed to seat the new rings, plus the forged piston requires a few thou. more piston to bore clearance than the stock hyperute's.

yea id like to run the stock rods and stock crank... i dont see them breaking on a 150 shot that goes a lil lean, but piston damage at one point or another seems inevitable!
